According to the New York Times, White House environmental jobs czar Van Jones resigned on Saturday:
In a victory for Republicans and the Obama administration’s conservative critics, Van Jones resigned as the White House’s environmental jobs “czar” on Saturday.
Controversy over Mr. Jones’s past comments and affiliations has slowly escalated over several weeks, erupting on Friday with calls for his resignation.
Controversy escalated over several weeks?
I subscribe to the New York Times, but it isn’t the only place I get my news. If I did, I might wonder why yesterday was the first time it mentioned this controversy of several weeks. This venerable news organization didn’t find this brewing controversy newsworthy? Or is it perhaps they just didn’t want their readers to know about it? A quick search shows pretty much nothing on the subject.
Why is the New York Times hiding the news? And are they seriously dumb enough to think that just because they aren’t doing their job, that other people would ignore the story too? And what else are they hiding?
And people wonder why newspapers are dying.
