Don&#039;t think big. Think small. The only way you&#039;re ever going to have the creative freedom and job title control (or rather, non-control) is if you go with an outfit of less than 25-50 people.

The problem is, the insurance will suck and the pay will be in the &quot;low range&quot; instead of the &quot;mid to high range&quot;

But on the plus side, you&#039;ll wear a ton of hats and get to do very important, impacting things on that business.

I suggest finding a small business that&#039;s an &quot;up and comer&quot; or simply one that&#039;s struggling and pulling them up by their bootstraps. A real money-where-your-mouth-is thing.

As much as I&#039;d like to say I&#039;m that adventurous, I&#039;m not.
